Dori Ann, I am so sorry to hear of Don Nino's departure, this news saddens my heart since your father was a very special person to me, it was a privilege to know Don Nino and be able to take care of him. Now he is resting and we pray that God can comfort your hearts. Especially you and Michael, you were excellent children, who honored your Father and always took good care of him. We will remember Don Nino as a hero, as an exemplary Father, friend and as a talented and creative men,, my sincere condolences. Francis

I always thought you were invincible. Never thinking this day would come. My Pop Pop was a wonderful man. He set an example of love and devotion. He loved my grandma and cared for her for 72 years something so rare to find.
I was very fortunate to have you in my life for 40 wonderful years. We have created so many memories whether it was working on school projects, banging the pots and pans at midnight New Year’s Eve, helping me create my Halloween costumes, setting up my first classroom or going to Yankee games. Your last yankee game was at 91 years of age. A few times I called you late at night knowing you would be up watching boxing. I would be in the area and you let me stop by with my friends. You left a big impression on anyone that’s ever been in your presence. You were always there to lend me guidance, support or a hug when I needed it.
Thank you, PopPop, for being an incredible source of love, guidance, and inspiration in my life. I am forever grateful for you, and I love you more than words can express. You will be deeply missed!
Love Dana
