Obituary of Peter A. Porrino

Porrino, Peter A., age 95, Vero Beach , FL, formerly of Fort Lee and Englewood Cliffs, passed peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday August 31, 2023.   Born in New Jersey, Peter was an entrepreneur and owner of The Porrino Real Estate Group. He was an avid golfer (he shot his age several times) and proud member of Vero Beach Country Club and Knickerbocker Country Club. He was the President of the Lions Club of Fort Lee, NJ, and served in the United States Naval Reserves during the Korean War.  

Beloved husband of the late Nancy (nee: Fritz) Porrino.  Devoted father of Kathleen Van Voorhees,  Joanne Porrino Mournet and her husband Charles, Peter Porrino and his wife Andrea, Russell Porrino and his wife Holly, and Christopher Porrino and his wife Christina.   Cherished Grandpa of Sara & Josh, David & Elizabeth, Sophia, Gabriella, Annabelle, Charles, Max & Peter.  Adored Great Grandpa of Cooper, Reece, Asher, Cameron & Dylan.   Dear brother of Jenny Celestino, and  late siblings Patricia Vecera and Jack Porrino. Fond uncle and cousin to his extended family.  He will be greatly missed by his loving family and many devoted and special friends.

The family will receive their friends on Tuesday from 3-8 pm at the Frank Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street “opposite the Fort Lee Library”.   All are asked to assemble on Wednesday at  9:30 am in the funeral home for services which will begin at 10 am.   Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery.
