I lived next to Eileen in Stuyvesant Town for approximately 17 years but unfortunately lost touch when I moved my little family to suburbia around 1990, but not before she moved her into my 2 bedroom next door. We were close enough that she asked, and I accepted, the privilege of being Nicole’s godfather. I am heartbroken to hear of her passing and you are both in my prayers.

Eileen was always bubbly, clever & sassy, with a great sense of humor. We often walked our dogs at the same time in the am, with Maggie growling at Samson--such a jealous little girl if mommy was distracted from her for an instant. I'll miss her laugh, which was infectious. RIP my friend. XOX
