Like Thom, I guess it is not too late to say rest in peace. I also went to high school with John, though I didn’t graduate from FLHS. He was always a nice guy. I didn’t begin high school till well into the 9th grade, and he was always very nice to me, the “new kid”. I hadn’t seen him or been in touch for many years, but I never forgot him. Learned of his death totally by accident. Condolences to his family as well.

I guess it's never too late to say Rest in Peace. You popped in my mind, John, and I had to leave my condolences. John and I attended school throughout our lives. I last saw him at ShopRite and he remembered me. John was a very kind soul. God bless.

I just learned of John's passing. We cycled together with BTCNJ many years ago and stayed in touch over the years with Christmas cards. I didn't hear from him in 2021 but sent another card in 2022. It just came back to me as undeliverable so I checked online.... So sad. John was such a nice person. Rest in peace my friend.

I haven't seen John in many years - but I will always remember him. Always had a smile ready for you, and a nice word to say. Great example of a human for all to follow. May his memory be eternal.

On behalf of us, at ShopRite, who have heard suddenly this morning, we are deeply saddened to hear of his passing! We will remember him always cheering us on and exchanging good conversations by the coffee place on our breaks n lunches. He was well-liked by many! Often, I would pass by through Ft.Lee and wave Hi on my way to work! Strength n hugs to The Family!!!

I was so sad to hear about John's passing. We had met while bicycling with the Bicycle Touring Club of North Jersey (BTCNJ) and shared many adventures together. John was very kind and always helpful. I'll have good memories of the wonderful bike trips that he led from Fort Lee up to New York. I'll also have good memories of the group bicycle trips that started at Charlie Brown's restaurant and ended up at the same place for good meals and camaraderie.
John introduced me to the two wonderful hot dog restaurants in Fort Lee - Hiram's and Callahans. During the past year, we talked about getting together to go to Hiram's after the pandemic was over. My next visit to Hiram's will be with John in spirit.
I'll also have good memories that friendship brought us: the road trip in California, the Mamas and Papas concert in New York, the night with Mr. D as the DJ, and others. I was so glad to have gotten together with him and many of our other bicycling friends at a story slam in Montclair just before the pandemic.
Rest in peace Clark.

I remember John as a very dedicated volunteer with the Volunteer Center (now Bergen Volunteers). He was always helpful, upbeat and pleasant. A loss for our community.

As soon as this Covid crisis is over a few of us are going to ride to Piermont & share & toast to our memories of John. We are all old now, so we will be going by car. Lol
