Obituary of John T. Virgona

It is with great saddness that the family of John T. Virgona announces his passing on January 12, 2021, at the age of 65. 

He was a lifelong resident of Fort Lee, NJ and graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He worked in the sales industry for Bennett Brothers and others. He enjoyed volunteering, teaching English to foreign born residents in Bergen County. He was an avid bicyclist and sports enthusiast. A dedicated New York Yankee and New York Giant's fan who enjoyed watching most sports. His knowledge of sporting events and trivia were unmatched.

Among his many pleasures, were get togethers with his brothers and their families. Also being with his very special friends for breakfast at Shoprite. 

He is the beloved brother of Raymond Virgona and his wife Eileen, James Virgona and his wife Sylvia, Robert Virgona and his wife Deborah. Cherished uncle of 5 nieces and nephews. Loving great uncle of 9. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
